Rhye's of Civilization - the fastest loading mod Expanded - PART II

I have not tried civ4 yet (still in the package)
I like c3c but unless I play a specific scn/mod
I only play with this mod for a regular game.
It's better designed.
 
Yeah i plalyed this once as france and took out their camps and then I monopolized trade with the meds.
 
Hey, I just got attacked directly from sea by what looks like Incan clubmen. I don't see any indication of them having that ability (it's 1390 AD).
 
Wow, this mod is freaking AWESOME!

Lemme tell you, if Russia, Germany, France, and the Netherlands are not in the game, the Austrians become an absolute MONSTER! I'm currently England. Control Great Britian, France (No France),Spain(No Portugal or Spain) and also conquered west Germany from Austria.I also have 2 cities in New England. The Ottomans have Turkey, Greece, Italy, and South Spain. (As a result of no Romans, Byzantines,or Greeks. The tech leader is a tie between me and Arabia.
I played with only 15 civs.

Gray- Carthage
Strange shade of green- Ethiopia
Mucky brown- Arabia (at war with)
Pinkish- Babylon (Team up against Arabia)
Really strange color- Persia (Team up)
Light green- India
Sky Blue- China
Light purple- Korea
Red- Me!

Surprisingly, the government that comes with Republic (I think Oligarchic Republic is the name) is good for war-time!
 
I'm going to give this a try, and if it ruins my game I'm blaming all of you :P

I'm too scared to reinstall. I think my 6 year old computer won't be able to take an 1.8GB game being installed on it, and it'll continuosly crash :(
 
On more than one occasion, no uranium shows up anywhere when I discover Fission. As often, aluminum shows up prematurely. If I go back to a previous save, it has proceeded correctly, but I'm tired of losing so much work. I'm playing the random map.
 
It feels so different compared to you other Prince Mod. I actually think its better. It did feel faster unlike the prince one(could be my comp), and i felt that the unit changes were not nessecary, which was in your Prince mod.

The game felt better too without the Barabarian Civs.
 
I do not remember any problems witht he world map.
But I seemed to have deleted the biq when I was cleaning
out the civ folders.

I was wondering if anyone could em/pm the biq to me.
I do not wish to d/l the whole thing again
just to get the earth map.

It's not my work. It's other people's mod based on mine (he kept the name "Rhye's")

whats your secret to the faster loadings. Or is it just a secret family recipe :lol: ?
 
yeah at first I could only find the readme in the Start Menu, but I could find out where the shortcut went to. (the file didn't appear). Then I saw it under Infragram or whatever the file was called and pulled it out of the folder into conquests. I love the mod.
 
Does anyone on here try to colonize parts of the world when you are an European to try and keep up in land, or do you conquer surrounding nations?

I usually play one of the North or Central or South Americans...just because I don't like being too crowded (but I realize I have the extreme dis-advantage of having contact-therefore, trade-with the European nations...
 
I admire Rhye's concistency with this mod. I find it refreshing. I only have one (maybe two) complaint(s) about it. When I'm playing it, I constantly re-meet the same nations. Regardless of who I'm playing as, this happens. I even go into Worldbuilder (I know, cheating...) and put scouts along the borders. Within turns, they're "meeting" me again. Also, and I understand the difficulty of this aspect, not every Civilization is in the mod, but I appreciate what has been done. It's not a problem, just an observation.
