Rhye's of Civilization - the fastest loading mod Expanded - PART II

Here is something I made for now if you want to have the rules and scoring system in game. Just put the file in the conquest/scenario/RMC1/text folder. You have to create the "RMC1" and "text" folders yourself.

Now you'll have all the details of the routes and general bonus under the "game concept" part of the civilopedia. Its the first one, listed as "RMC1 scoring system*. It will work even if your game is allready started.

Let me know what you think!

No, just place the file Rhymes posted in Scenarios/RMC1/text and it will only affect RMC1. :)
Thanks Rhymes.

We put the RMC1 folder in the Conquests scenario folder??

I didn't do that and I already started a game. Should I start over??

You need to place the files in the RMC1 archive in the Conquests folder, using the directory structure in the zip. You have to start the game by loading the RMC1START save, if you don't, we'll know it, and your submission will be disqualified.

The saved game goes under conquest/saves folder. This is all you have to do for your game to be valid.

The scipt.txt and civilopedia.txt files go in the conquest/scenario/RMC1/text folder, that you have to create. This is optional, you dont need to restart your game if you did not do it that way. Even if your game is allready started you can make the modification later and it will take effect in the game.

Blasp, you should add a line in the MC page, next to the zip, with the installation instructions. So that everyone can play without problems.

Nice one, very useful, thanks.

The game does not allow a 0 AD save. Closest is 10 AD.

....indeed, should have thought about that. I'de say 10AD willl be the replacing date. Blasphemous is probably gonna confirm that tomorow.

Allright, so with Rhye's permission, every player is invited to post their game progression, strategies and screenshots in this thread. Note that if you do so, other players will have acces to your strategies, but since everybody knows how the map looks, its not a big spoiler.

Its gonna be interesting to compare the diferrent game progressions!

at around 250 AD I relized I need to have a screen shot at 0AD. Is it ok that I use a save from this game from 250 BC for my 0AD save?

I'm doing the european route, so the only thing I need 0AD for is the elimination of Israel, which I completed in 250 BC, so I have the appropriate saved game.

hey all. while trying to load i got this error
Missing entry in "text\Pedialcons.txt":ICON_BLDG_Statue_of_Liberty
can someone please help. i have conquest 1.22 so i dont know whats up.

Edit: Never mind.... Blas is gonna tell you, but I'm guessing it wont matter.

Is there a way in game to see which victory conditions you have achieved?

Well, yes, I know about the F8 key. But when I look at that page it does not look any different than any other game I play.
