However, one of them always tells the truth and one of them always lies. You may ask only one question to only one guard, one question only. What question do you ask to find out the color of the cow?

"Will the other guard tell me the cow is white?"

An answer of no means the cow is white. And answer of yes means black

Off-topic, Diamondz, looks like you and I may get personal avatars after this :)

Just a few:

(1) What familiar English word is always pronounced wrong by all the cleverest graduates of every University in the country?

(2) My brother bought seven doughnuts, and ate all but three of them. How many does he have left?

(3) My bookkeeper saw the word "balloon", and realised that it had two sets of double letters one after the other: two l's and two o's. He wondered if there are any words with three sets. Are there?

(4) How many months have 30 days?

(5) I've got a matchbox. In it I keep two coins from the USA as souvenirs. Together they add up to 55 cents. One of them isn't a nickel. What are they?

(6) "The number of words in this sentence is nine". That sentence is obviously true. Now the opposite of true is false. Can you give me a sentence which says the opposite of the sentence I quoted, but is still true?

(7) Abigail and Betty were born on the same day in the same year. They have the same parents. But they aren't twins. Explain.

(1) the word "wrong"
(2) three

(4) 11 , only Feb has less

Thinking on others.

(6) "The number of words in this sentance is not nine"

(3) Bookkeeper

(5) a half-dollar and half-dime

5) one isnt a nickel but the other one is. 50c+5c

I am changing my answer to this. Its sounds more likly than a half-dollar and half-dime.

Yes, there is such a thing as a half-dime. They were used in the 1800's back when that was alot of money.

You walk 10 miles due South(or Kilos for our non American friends), then turn East and walk 10 more. You then walk 10 miles due North and end up at the same spot you started. Where are you?

Here is another logic question. Its a little common but there may be some peopel who have not heard it.

A man is transporting corn, a chicken, and a fox. He comes to a bridge. He is only able to carry one of the three accross the bridge at one time. If the chicken is left with the corn, it will eat the corn. If the fox is left with the chicken, it will eat the chicken. How does he get all three acrros the bridge without anything being eaten?

He takes the chicken! :D

Yeah, I guess that was too easy!

Two trains are coming in opposite directions on the same track at the same time. How come they don't collide?

They stopped?

Ask one guard, "If I ask the other guard a question, will he say yes?" Let's say the guard says no. You go to the other guard and ask him a question. Let's say he says yes. Therefore the other guy lied. So say to the guy who tells the truth, "What's the color of the cow?"

Try phrasing it this way: A bear walks 10 miles south, then 10 miles east, then 10 miles north, and ends up in the exact spot it started. What color is the bear? (white)

A plane carrying 124 passengers crashes exactly on the border of the USA and Canada. Where are the survivors buried?

That is two questions pug. you are only allowed one question.

Ask one of the guards "Will the other guard say the cow is white?" That is all you need.
