When you carefully read the
the words in a paragraph like
like this one it is easy to
to make a mistake. In
In fact you might be
be making one right now
now unless you are
are reading very slowly!

So you notice anything unusual
in this paragraph?

There is only one "F". the rest are "f" (small "f").

The wind perhaps? At first I thought jellyfish, but wind seems more logical.

This one is good, I was positive there were only 3 until I read Elden's post.

@ DaveMcW: :goodjob:

How would you rearrange the letters in the words new door to make one word?
There is only one correct answer.

Brad Doe works for a packaging company. One day, he received four separate orders and accidently mixed up the addresses, so he applied the address labels at random. What is the probability that exactly three packages were correctly labeled?

I am the center of gravity, hold a capital situation in Vienna, and as I am foremost in every victory, am allowed by all to be invaluable. Though I am invisible, I am clearly seen in the midst of a river. I could name three who are in love with me and have three associates in vice. It is vain that you seek me for I have long been in heaven yet even now lie embalmed in the grave. What am I?

The probablity of three labels correct is Zero, if three were correct, the fourth would have to be also.

I'd take one of the o's, put it up front and move the d to the back. The space may need some adjustment as well. :D

The letter 'v'.

@ CrackedCrystal & Lovro: :goodjob:, both of you.

Hmm, gotta get some tougher riddles. :D

There was a guy named frank. One day, he had a very bad day. He came home, ate dinner, turned off the lights, and went to sleep. The next morning, he read in the newspaper about a shipwreck, and suddenly, he feels really guilty. Why does feel Frank guilty?

The king dies and two men, the true heir and an impostor, both claim to be his long-lost son. Both fit the description of the rightful heir: about the right age, height, coloring and general appearance. Finally, one of the elders proposes a test to identify the true heir. One man agrees to the test while the other flatly re-fuses. The one who agreed is immediately sent on his way, and the one who re-fused is correctly identified as the rightful heir.
Can you figure out why?

A person drove up to a hotel. He said to the hotel; "I'm broke, I'm out." Why did he say that?

Frank was the Lighthouse attendant and the light he turned off was the beacon.

If the test was one that either person could win, the imposter wouldn't be any worse off if he lost (he wasn't the heir to begin with) whereas the true heir would have a whole lot to lose. By refusing to agree to a test that could cost him what was rightfully his, one man showed that he had a lot to lose (was the rightful heir). By agreeing to the test, the other man showed he really didn't have much to lose and was thus the imposter.

Well, no. :D

It's not one of those tests you could win. There's a hint for ya. ;)

@ Perfection: Hmm, well, close enough. :goodjob:

It was actually a blood test, and he wouldn't agree to it because he was a hemopheliac.

Still one more left to answer.
