Ridiculuous front page ads

Instead of popups, like before, it seems that the host has decided to serve up a new style of ads, ones that run right in the screen and you are forced to see them. They've been on other sites but never here.

Then it changed. I just saw an Army ad run across maybe two weeks ago. But now it's getting ridiculous. I saw an ad for the "Sims Online" which really got on my nerves:

And there's the ones that also move with the scroll bar, so that they hide certain bits underneath them.

Well.... They did what they wanted to right? They got some attention to there ad.... Who knows... Now someone might throw away there copy of Sims Online

Doesn't bother me. I almost never start out in the mainpage anyways.

Those audio popups are just horrible. If they can't scare people off the site, what can?

That Sims Online thing is stupid. But I can tolerate it. At least it isn't "The Core" ads!

With the SIMS Online ad and the Core ad its actually stopped me coming here until they are gone.

These ads are being dreamt up by publicity buffoons who know nothing about web habits.

There's nothing that will prompt me to never buy a product than an "in your face" obtrusive ad. The SIMS Online and The Core have just been added to my 'never buy' list.

I'm not going to spend $30 for a game for an online-only experience. I was really disappointed with Vacation, coming out three months after Hot Date. They simply used the same engine and added nothing new or exciting to it in my opinion.

The Core ad should be gone today...why isn't it yet?

I tell you what, I'd be more willing to pay a sub fee than have these off-putting useless ads in my face whenever I visit CFC.

Shoving an ad in your face is likely to have the totally opposite effect you advertising buffoons! Sheesh, one of these days they might just catch on!

These still aren't as annoying as ELECTRICAL SUPERSTORMS WE'VE BEEN HIT! DEVASTATING EARTHQUAKES...etc.
