For the first time in God knows how long
(strange looks)
Sorry, I meant Allah knows how long, the world was at peace.
Wait, no, nevermind, someone else had started a war.
But, as to how the world had managed to come to peace.
Russia, now satisfied with having taken all of the land once belonging to Crimea, no longer cared about getting any more from the Ottomans. So, they made peace with them. The overjoyed Ottoman army promptly marched to Mecca and Jiddah, taking them over easily. The Arabian penninsula was now theirs. They didn't get all of Arabia's land, though- the Ethiopians got to the island of Socotra first. Hence, the Ottoman Wars are over.
(Yeah, I know, that's a lot of land, but it's f***ing desert. Hardly valuable.

)
The Aztecs and Maroc decided, "screw this, I don't want to fight a war against someone on the other side of the planet", and so made peace. Maroc is noticablely less interested in colonies, as they have sold their one on Iceland to Reykjavik.
And speaking of Reykjavik, this was why the world was not totally at peace. England had invaded them. With a massive army pushing forward, it was a simple task to capture Bolungavik, Olafsvik, Keflavik, Borgarnes, Vik, and the capital city of Reykjavik. Reykjavik's capital has moved to Djupivogur, and they seem to be doomed.
Nearby, on Greenland, Japan sent some colonists. Their directions seem to have been unclear though, and they have ended up on the Northwest corner, near no resources. They are not very happy about this.
Cuba has once again been the site of many battles. Gibraltar returned and recaptured Guantanamo, and re-instated their colony. The Maya pushed east and captured Ciboney.
Farther to the north, Louisiana sent huge armies at their barbaric neighbors, conquering two of the 5 Indian nations. The other 3 are alarmed by this, and also curious as to why England ignores them.
The Mings invaded the Phillipines. There, they fought a battle against the Fillipino that resulted in a stalemate, with no victory for either one. The naval battles off the coasts of the islands are largely responsible for this.
They were luckier, however, in the north. They have taken vast swaths of land from their Mongolian and Manchurian neighbors.
In Indonesia, Japan suffered an epic fail vs. Borneo, and have lost control of most of the island. They just didn't have enough troops, even against barbarians. Meanwhile, Vietnam and Burma have added a few more islands to their collection of Indonesian islands, nearly getting to New Guinea.
Farther south, in Australia, Japan had more luck, and more troops. Hence, they now have a swath of land in Eastern Australia.
Blah Blah, stuff happened, Blah Blah, Caliph wraps things up.
