Which do you like better.Risk or Civilization series.

This'll be moved to the Other Games section, methinks.

But Civilization by far. Risk has the appeal of a simple strategy game to take one's mind off things, but it is outclassed by the awesome scope of the Civs.

I hate risk.. We always end up taking about 2 hours to set up a real cool and original game, and then playing for about 20 minutes before being completely bored about it and ending the game..... its too much always the same thing... the one in southern asia/australia wins with the same good old strategy....

Civ rules!

And indeed you sig is way too damn big ;)

Civ is better than Risk. Much more variety in Civ, compared to Risk, with only Infantry, Cavalry, and Artillery

Civ (what else can I say, this is a forum for CIVFANATICS). Risk is fun on a rainy day when you have about 18 hours to kill (need beers and friends who will stay for the entire game though).

I only ever played Risk once, and that ended with my friends ganging up on me cos they did not want to lose to a first timer :(.

Mna, i thought thered be more risk lovers. Everyday me and my friend(occasionally two others) play a full game of risk together, civ is fun, but risk is simple(and fun).

Risk and Axis and Allies were precursors to my civ addiction. I do have fond memories of some ruthless double board risk games. Interesting twist.

Risk is great and is my favorite board game, but it just cannot compare to CIV.
