Play this like the real game; you submit your answer and then when you see the results, the one with the most votes is the winner- if you voted for it, you win, if not you lose. In the event of a tie, thanks for playing...

Don't spoil it dude!!! Edit your response please!!!

If this thread seems superfluous, just substitute "Saddam is an evil dictator with WMD" for rock, "The US is an imperialist go-it-alone juggernaut" for scissors, and "The UN must uphold its resolutions or be irrelevant" for paper--- that's how these threads feel lately...

Paper defeats all. None can withstand it's viscious onslaught of...uh...covering.

That's what you think. MY paper is actually sheet rock. The ultimate alliance of paper and rock against their common foe, scissors.

Or blunts them.

Truly, the versatility of rock is matched only by:

And such a versatile creature is surely in for some sort of award, so we call it our state animal.

Half-way off topic, did anyone else see that Saturday Night Live sketch where there were two announcers commentating a rock paper scissors game?

I can't remember all the details, but I remembering them commenting that the major tactic used by the competitor was the dreaded stone to scissors maneuver. They would initially put out stone but at the last split second... as they saw their opponent use paper... the mighty competitor would use blinding speed in extending two fingers to claim the win.

Can you feel the excitement?!?!

BTW, I usually use scissors on my first try.

The "stone to scissors" move is exactly why I require the choice to be written in a sealed envelope before playing.
