I am not sure, but we had alot of land (18% ???) and a rather early win date. It could be all the GOD activity made a difference though.

I think I know what the score is - the save I did looked odd, I did ask for people to check it just to be safe. I went back and examined it more carefully, and somehow it reset the turn counter to zero. >.>

I'm sorry, I really hope I haven't rendered this inadmissible or something equally sucky. :/

No problem at all. I have never submitted a game to the hall of fame, and Zara finds this quite funny. Yet another example of the God's meddling inadvertantly helping the Ethiopian cause. in this case a higher score!

Btw, Mad I was hoping to delete the UN and Internet while giving you oil, but it was until someone told me that he purposely removed all the oil in your territory, so I decided to wait next round, hoping that it was at least going to be the 2nd last round...

Don't fret! This segment was the last and if I did not get the UN vote I was planning to play out the culture win. besides I may have objected to eliminating the UN as the only thing I asked for was to make the game winnable. Deleting a victory condition sort of breaks that request! The internet is another matter and I would have been real interested on how you pulled that off, if you could!

I agree that destroying the UN or continually sabotating the diplomacy situation to deny Mad a diplomatic win is activitely preventing him winning the game rather than just being a nuisance.

At one point I was tempted to remove all your technologies and gift you the Internet, just to see what would happen. Decided against it thoug has it'd probably help you way too much.

You could probably delete the UN by giving it to a barb city, giving Mad a troop outside, and manually raze the city yourself.
