Captain Jean-Luc Picard: Startdate 795AD
RIKER: "Captain, the native aborgines are suggesting we speed up mapping of the lands as well as trade off our spare resources. While we recall maps of earth in our time, perhaps this is a good idea as we can learn where these nations lie. Also, I strongly suggest we continue tech trading as the Prime Directive does not come into effect here, in fact captain earth at 795 AD appears to be out-teching us by quite a bit."
PICARD: "Patience number One, our research shall improve, but I agree on all you said. Send out spare Galley off exploring and make those trades."
WORF: "Captain, I all for improving our sickly military but could you at least get me a technology where we have a resource to use!"
RIKER:"Captain, we have an opportunity to improve our exploration by a rgeat deal. Mansa Musa offers us a trade and I suggest we research paper for map making"
Picard: "Excellent Number One, we shall start on a caravel in Botany Bay while beginning whale hunting off the coast of New Zealand. But remember our own History and please refrain from harvesting the Humpback Whales. Tell me, exactly where is our research now Mr. Laforge."
LaForge: "Captain, I recommend going along the paper/education/liberalism path as that can lead to the practise of Free Religion as well as a jump in our research."
WORF: "CAPTAIN, OUR DEFENSES!"
Picard: "Of course Mr. Worf. Will, see to it please."
Riker: "Captain, we have met the Russian Czarina Catherine the Great."
Picard: "Ah Number One. The Chaste Queen who's love of horses was well documented. Be gentle number one, do not offend the lady."
Riker: "SIR! She is anything but Chaste and that myth about horses is not exactly along the conservationalist path that we learned about. Frankly sir I was lucky to get out of her residence with my life. However, is fleeing from her I came across "
Riker: "And sir, this one is a religious fanatic. I was forced to spend endless hours listerning to her tales of the piotous life and I second Jordi's technology path towards Free Religion. Now Captain, if you excuse me I need a bath!"
Dr. Crusher: "Captian, we have settled the last region that we discussed."
Dr. Crusher:" Should we start settling the polynesian island now sir or wait."
Picard: "No Beverly, let's wait until the issue of discovering LIberalism is set to rest."
Laforge: "Captain, we have finished paper and looks like we are not the first to it."
Picard: "Excellent, inform Commander Riker and let him begine trading."
Riker: "Sir, between the Mali Map. the spare Galley and our caravel we are making excellent progress on world exploration. We also discovered a leader I have never heard of before."
Picard: "There was an old myth Number One of an Egyptian Pharoh that was actually a women. It appears this was not exactly a myth but had an element of truth. Let's hope the lady does not give as mush trouble as the Russian and Spanish Queens. Now, how is the caravel going"
Riker: "Sir, we have met the New World. The tales of a jungle paradise are greatly mistaken, the Incans appear OK but they are vassaled to the Aztecs who appear incredibly brutal. Sir, they are practicing human sacrifice on blood stained alters!"
Picard: "Are you certain Number One, that was what people thought of the original inhabitants of North America, the Americans."
Riker: "I fear it's accurate captian. I have obtained an open borders but contrary to our early understanding of the intellectual and distinguished Montezuma I think we should tred lightly."
Picard: "Agreed! But have you located the Americans?"
Riker" "Yes sir, we have met Roosevelt and he is not the hulking beheamouth warrior that legend has slew the monster leaders of the twnetieth centuries with his bare hands. In fact, he appears to be crippled and wears glasses."
LaForge: "Sorry to interupt Captain, but I thought you would want to know we completed Education."
Laforge:" And as with paper we are not the first to it. Asoka also has it"
Picard: "Very well, continue towards Liberalism and get what we can for education. We are obligated to educate the world if the Violent Indians already have it."
Picard: "Excellent work Number One! Are we in danger of losing the liberalism race?"
