RoM Icon for Shortcut

Hello,

Civ_Fuherer made a thread explaining how to make a shortcut for the Rise of Mankind mod. So look there for the directions on making one. Now...

Here I have in the attachment a new icon I made for my shortcut to RoM. Most of you possibly know how to make a shortcut so I won't bother typing instructions unless you ask for it.

Now how ot use the icon, just put it somewhere safe on your computer. Downloads is a fine place. Now go to your shortcut and right click it. Now click "Manage Icons". Browse to the directory where you put that icon I provided and click OK. Click OK again.

There you have it, a new icon for your shortcut.

NOTICE: this icon is in competition to the one Generalstaff already made so you now have two icons to choose from ! It is several posts below this post. He provides a link to it and an image.

Hello, I can't find in many, many pages of this forum the thread about shortcut and resurrect it so I'm starting up a new thread.

2. I didn't make any, really, I gave the directions on how, Generalstaff and MisterBenn gave icons and put it on that thread, so now there's three icons.

Yeah i made my own also, but i like yours better.

Here's one that puts you right to a SAVED game, rather than restarting RoM from the beginning all the time.

What does it actually do? It doesn't seem to load a particular saved game, and doubleclicking on a save doesn't load it AFAIK (it only loads BtS).

It only takes you to the saved game area, thats correct. Then you choose which game you wanted to start to play, it does nothing else again but takes you TOO the saved game area, that way you dont have to load RoM, then pick the saved game. Its just a shorter short cut is all.
