Unfortunately there is no release date for 2.0 yet, but until then you could check out the historically accurate Sparta preview which was recently released...

Sorry to bump this thread but I've been interested in this mod lately. Is it still worthwhile after all this time and can it bring back the 'spark' that only Rome had?
