No, the sub problem is still there.

Yes, it's hypothetical, but so is 99% of the topics discussed on these boards.

For the record, I would prefer they focus all their energies on Civ4.

Longasc: I agree Civ: Complete should live up to its name. I have hopes that in its final retail version it will be perfectly bug free. I suspect that is a major goal of the shipping version, freeing up all possible resources for Civ 4 development, as well as gaining money for development. I will buy it regardless of what is included. A great little feature that may get some previous owners and resistors to buy is including the Complete version on a single DVD, one install, and using the extra space for bonus material.

Stonesfan - If I go by what you said was included (I realize you don't really know), then my waffling ends with a firm no. I will not go spend thirty bucks, or whatever, on some conquests that I can't play. As for units and civs for mods, well, I can get twenty discs full for free down in the C&C forum, now can't I?

I would only buy it if it had new playable civs (maybe swappable like someone - denyd? - said), new UU's, perhaps a new tech or tow, and maybe some new buildings/wonders. In other words, if they make the epic game better, sure. If not, then no.

I can get all kinds of goodies for free here - why pay for yet another patch?

I hope Civ4 gets some kind of interactive combat option.

Why can't you play the conquests?

Never thought I would say this, but I wouldn't buy a new XP for Civ3... I think that there is no more room for adding things, and, frankly, five or eight new civs wouldn't do the trick this time for me. I usually don't play scenarios, so I think that whatever they could put in a new XP would not be of interest to me.

And as someone said before, Civ IV is on the horizon, I think that I'll wait for it now - plus I still think that I can have fun with Conquests until they release Civ IV.

I would definately buy a new XP for CivIII if it came with some new scenarios and units and if it fixed all remaining bugs without creating any new ones.

No the maximum number of expansions a game should have is 2.(ideally it should be none, saves me money).

btw what game has the most expansions, not including "the sims"

i didn't even buy the conquest, not to mention another expansioin...
i like ptw and will stick with it. :)
