If it's just showing your player name instead of the scoreboard, I think you just click that name and it'll toggle the scoreboard.

I found out how to get it back, a simple button that has no real explaination. Insanely too simple.

Next segment has been played and I expect to post it tonight. The Huns are still alive!!!!

Expansion of the Hun Empire

The world expected the Huns to establish peace with Darius, surely they cannot keep the current pace of warfare without serious economic problems.

Atilla had other ideas

HunsE0001.jpg

The huns consitued their war against Darius burning the newly captured city to the ground.

Seeing a weak neighbor Sury declared war on Darius.

HunsE0002.jpg

Sury requested opens borders which were denied.

Next the Celtic capital of Darius was captured

HunsE0003.jpg

And also burned to the ground.

HunsE0004.jpg

The Huns rejoiced as the Temple of Artimes was thrown to the ground.

Apparently the Huns made some enemies as VIctoria came demanding tribute

HunsE0005.jpg

As an answer remnants of the Temple of Artimes were thrown at the Queen who hurried off preparing for war.

FINALLY

HunsE0006.jpg

The Huns were delighted and felt real smart, able to count the heads of their defeated enemies.

A Hunnish counsil was quickly made and decided that research was to proceed along Calendar to work the high commerce potential resources.

Meanwhile 2 forces of Huns prepared to invade further into Celtic lands

HunsE0008.jpg

Results were predictable

HunsE0010.jpg

HunsE0011.jpg

NO cities were spared but Atilla has been building settlers to claim these lands under proper Hunnish uncivilized leadership.

Peace was extorted from the broken Celtic KIng

HunsE0012.jpg

And the Hunnish army regrouped with other plans.

HunsE0013.jpg

HunsE0014.jpg

Upon seeing the Hun army on his borders Willem was willing to pay off the Atilla for 10 turns of peace

HunsE0015.jpg

Fueling research towards CAlendar.

A pair of new Hun cities were settled

HunsE0016.jpg

HunsE0017.jpg

And further intimidation tactics were used against Darius

HunsE0018.jpg

Soon Atilla became bored with idle threats and looked for more bloodshed

HunsE0019.jpg

AT this point Atilla found a few new enemies

HunsE0021.jpg

HunsE0026.jpg

Several of Willem's Mayan cities were taken and kept, providing a valuable source of gems

HunsE0022.jpg

After the latest city taken from Willem Atilla discovered the Location of Victoria's CHinese Empire

HunsE0027.jpg

After taking one last city Atilla sues for peace

HunsE0030.jpg

And prepares for an eventual war against Victoria and/or Boudica

A great general arrives and is named Son of Atilla

HunsE0031.jpg

Both to lead the Mongols in battle

Soon the next tech is dicovered

HunsE0033.jpg

And the next tech contemplated

HunsE0034.jpg

Seams HBR, Construction, or Currency.

A view of the empire

HunsE0036.jpg

RAther large, however there are some serious stacks from Victoria and Boudica roaming the borders of the Huns.

Where to go from here?!

Seams HBR, Construction, or Currency.

Where to go from here?!

Well, good job so far. Its really painfull to look at the techs from Willem

You desperately need currency for wealth building, oth you need Alfa to get to Currency.

What you also need badly, is HBR for proper Hun warfare :crazyeye: I cant decide

Looking forward to what Attila decides.

looks like u need more workers. Alpha or currency need to be next tech. Is trading forbidden again?

At this point tech trading is forbidden for the Huns. And I can tech Currency now since we know how to count (Math).

I didn't know that you can get tribute from AIs by massing your army near their borders. Good tactics. Does it work with all AIs or only with coward AIs?

Well folks, looks like the Huns are destroyed once again!

Seriously, too stringent rules and the tech trading has allowed the AI to gain an advantage. FAcing catapults and war elephants are just too tough without HAs or longbows.

WE managed to wreck some parts of civilization, but it is just too danged strong!

Look for another RPC in some time, the Huns are finished!

Oh, no!!! Well, I guess there's a reason that Atilla never founded an empire that stood the test of time. Like the original, you were a terror that was eventually quashed, remembered only as a bogeyman to frighten young children. Better to burn out than fade away...

Indeed those rules are very tough you gave your self.

As a potential wrinkle for Attila of the Huns, Re-Revenge Re-Reboot how about placing some of the other warlords in the game like Genghis, Shaka, Ragnar etc and letting yourself only trade/open borders with them? I prefer that to straight no tech trading so that you can bully pathetic wimp civilizations out of their techs!

I prefer a different type of Bully and Uncivilized leader. So look for the Rockefellers in the future.

Rockefellers? İnteresting idea! I look forward to it. Maybe you would also play a Rothschilds game in the future. :crazyeye: But I'm really curious about how Rockefellers game would look like.

Me too

And to Mad, thanks again for the entertaining, always fun reads from you !

Looking forward to the next bully :goodjob:

You could put the difficulty down a level and play with half the number of civs - that should give you a chance.

This was a fun read though, thanks! :)

I will eventually replay the Huns,, but likely with the always war mod that Neal is using. HAving two game going with tha mod at once is probably too much, besides I need a little more classy leader for a while.
