RPG for the Future: Land Sales?

Ok. Now, everyone is owning land that is granted by the despot. But when republic and democracy roll in, if ever, will people keep their lands, and then sell other tiles, or will people lose their land and it be resold?

the land thingys for the new govs are clearly in the land thread, civ.

But what I am trying to clearify is if: Characters who have land right now, will they or will they not lose their land when Denocracy or Republic gov's are in place?

they will not loose their land, but can sell it... they may get other disadvantages though >-)
only communism will "deown" land. it is clearly stated in the rule that the only thing demo or rep will do is give NEW land into a sale.

They wont loose. they keep and all NEW is sold
