RPG Mini-Game: Murder at the Temple!

Good eye, sniplefritz. It was indeed (as if the quote from 'Restaurant at the end of the Universe' in my sig didn't give my was as an H2G2 fan).

Now, starting from the beginning...

Day 0
Riko Anjin is killed by Noldodan. Revolutionary vs. goverment agent should have been obvious. :p

Now, for my own clue - Anjin is found dead in room 14. The significance? N is the 14th letter of the aplhabet. N for Noldodan. :p

Day 1
Real Pave is killed by the hotel occupants, and CivGeneral is killed by SaaM that night.

CG is found dead in room 19. S is the 19th letter of the alphabet. S for SaaM. :p

Day 2
Hydratto Quinton is killed by the hotel occupants. Noldodan kills Jack Ijuno.

As with the others, he's found dead in room 15. O is the 15th letter. First two letters of Noldodan's name spelled out.

Day 3
The people kill Myein, and SaaM kills Civanator.

Less obvious clue this time..
As [Octavian V] opened his novel and navel,
A navel here is meant to be an orange. Apples are generally seen to be the opposite of oranges. And, Stuck_as_a_Mac is stuck using an Apple computer. :p

Music was also part of the clue here.

Day 4
The crowd finally gets it right, and kills Noldodan, though he was not responsible for the last murder, that of Civanator's. Go figure.
SaaM kills BCLG.

Room number means nothing here. No clues, except the music. Music was again involved. Who else had, so far, quoted music in his posts? :p

Day 5
Wolfgangsan is killed by the crowd. SaaM kills Ankka.

Note the locked rooms. Who controls an army of unmentioned interns that could get around the locked rooms? And who seemed to have a lot of logic behind the murder?

Day 6

Everyone else dies - SaaM wins. :D

Number clues, eh?
Oct mentioned the orange clue to me, but I didnt see it. And yes, the interns (and the locking of the doors) was my idea as well.
If anyone wants, I can post my original "Muder of CG" story up here that Oct found too gursome for the murder. Warning: Involves, assault, rape, beheading and pies.

Why the hell is rape in there, what'd you do, rape CG's corpse  ?

Let's make a new game with more less subtle clues this time.

If we make a new game exactly like this one, then we'll probably just vote off people we didn't like in this game (meaning SaaMsan will be first gone, most likely). Maybe we should add a rule stating that you need to write a couple sentences of proof for your vote?

Noldodan said:
Everything was hunky-dory... until Wolfgangsan strung together a bunch of odd things into an accusation. Eh, well. Anyway, my reasoning for the killings is this:

Ready?

I'm a government agent with unlimited powers of life and death. What reason could I possibly need?
I always had suspected it was you who killed Riko, but since I was the one of the last people to vote I thought it was better for me to keep quiet and wait for the right moment to get rid of him, and it worked. SaaM, I sung Faure's Requiem for the people, but he did not get everything that I ha PMed him. The whole point of that episode was to show that the day of wrath was upon those who had voted to get rid of me, and I was right. If the people had not got rid of me, the people would have won. See SaaM's post to see that I am not the only person who likes Classical Music.

I'm sure a we would like an explaination. We would also like to here Noldodan. I am very confused that we did not get the first murder right. I did but I didn't want to be killed by the guy so I waited for the right moment. :mwhaha:

If Noldodan would've lived another turn, I would've added another clue - that his victim was eating a crab. If you'll recall, Noldodan's favorite saying is, iirc, "Crabwenge!" which means, something like, "Press the button." :p

If we did do another mafia game, I wouldn't use the same number clues. But, I've got another mini-game idea involving a casino. :D

But please:
Start a new thread as soon as the game begins and please use logins instead of new names. I've wondered for ages who Amadeus or Mozart or Wolfgangman or whatever the name was. I still don't know who that guy is. Don't make that part the hard part, make the solving of the killings the hard part.

I was actually putting my own clues in too, but so far only the Government Agent-Revolutionary thing was mentioned. The clues that I laid myself are obvious once they're revealed: various bunglings in the killings. After all, who honestly expects a government action to succeed, especially an assassination?

Octavian, you misquote: it's "Crabengwë!" Although, come to think of it, maybe I should've put that one in myself...

Yeah, sorry about that. My memory of phrases in the languages of Tolkein is a bit sketchy. ;)

Anyway, when I said casino, I meant something that didn't involve murder - no, that would get old after a while. I'm just toying with something like game where players bet some fictional money, with the last person to actually have money wining. It might be some sort of roulette game, or a simple card game.

Maybe on the first page we could have the characte names and the username together. After all this is a RPG forum for those who are in the Demogame. Having both will stop the coufusion. This should only need to be on the first post, so that people can have that as a reference point. I did like how you kept the first post updated, this has been by far the best run Mafia game I have been on.

BTW, I am Wolfgangsan.

How about a little Russian Roulette?
