Rumble in the Jungle - first PBEM game hosted by Jarrema

I would like to start a new PBEM game (in Orbis) tommorow at night. It will be a very speciffic one:
map size: small
map type: jungle (do not remember exact name of the mapscript)
civilisations allowed: ONLY mazatl.
There are four leaders of Mazatl so the game is for four players - computer or human. Everybody should choose one leader, I would choose my as the last person.
other things:
last days, compact enforced, raging barbs, no Acheron, no technology training.
Every method of winning is allowed: dirty tricks, backstabbing, unsuspected war declarations...

I hope for a short and bloody game. I'm looking for 1, 2, or 3 fellow players, so if You fill like joining - please write it.

It woukld be my first PBEM-hosting. If someone more experienced in that could advice me something, than I have a question: Is there anything not obvious that I need to know about hosting PBEM?

EDIT 2: Ooops, I forget that there is no possibility of turning Acheron of in Orbis. So we must play with him

Kalina - Khset
Old_Lion - Mihuatl

I like this idea I'd like to join as Khset unless someone wants him If so, Hianthrough is also ok. I always played with evil Tlacatl (they are Tlacatl now, not Mazatl ;>) so I'd like to try good leader
One thing I don't like is no unique features I can live without them but they are so much fun and flavor, especially holy mountain of Tlacatl

If you need someone to fill, I could join, but I don't want to take a place in each and PBEM.
I can also be a replacement player in case of need.

as for advice : I don't have yet a long experience, so you know what I did in the other games :
- choose the roster order according to gaming time ranges.
- hem.. no precise idea yet. Having good will and starting a game is already great !

Ok, so I understand that we have 3 human plazers now: OldLion, if Yiu are capable to play with us (would be very nice), than choose Your leader. Waiting about 4-5 hours before stating game, if You decide with what leader You want to play

We have still one free "player slot", so if somebody likes to join, it would be nice. If not, there would be one computer player.
EDIT: I can live with unique features. What is Your opinion, OldLion? And would You and Kalina want "normal" unique features, or option with "all unique features"?

And what do You think about unique features?


Another question for both of You: do You think that if we would play with one computer player, then we should play with "no AI building requirements" and/or "no AI level requirements" on? My opinion is that we should consider it... and turn at least one of this options on. What would be, in Your opinion, best difficulty level? Monarch? higher?

Normal Unique Features... small map is too small for all of them I think.
No buildings/levels for AI sounds ok for me... With any AI I'd say Monarch+, but if it's all humans Noble is better I think

Yeah, if we will have the fourth player then we will play on Noble. If not, I believe Monarch/no building and level requirements OR Emperor with only one of this two things

normal unique features is fine by me.

So, at this point, it looks like Old Lion could choose any leader. However, to be optimal it would seem that Old Lion can choose any leader other than Khset.

I would wager that Jarrema would prefer Hiaganthrough ... so the polite choice would be to pick either Kolshevan or the other Evil leader.

The Strategic choice, however, would most likely be Hiaganthrough.

Not necessarilly so. I even prefer (albeit very slighty) Kolshevan - maybe Hiaganthrogh is better choice strategy-wise (I'm not sure here) but I've played two times with good Tlazatl and I will gladly try the evil ones

In previous games we noticed setting admin password causes game impossible to load for other players.. so yes, new game might be required.
