Does anyone know of a PC emulator to run on Mac OS 9?

I only have a G4 and i want to play my PC version of Civilization 1, and i dont want to buy the Mac version when i already have the PC version.

There seems to be a plethora of freeware/shareware Mac for PC emulators but not the other way around.

The most famous PC emulators for mac are:

_ Connectix Virtual PC (the people who did Bleem! too)
_ Insignia Softwindows and SoftPC but these ones are no longer developped nor updated.

It emulates and runs smoothly civ1 on a G4. But now, personnaly, wouldn't you like to play Civilization for Macintosh? It's far better, with nice graphics and awesome soundtracks... (just check civ1 forum for the soundtrack, I think I have posted it somewhere there)

Edit: try http://www.lismoresoft.com/INDEX.asp?pressr4.htm
And also if you like emulators, www.emulation.net is the reference page for any emulator for MacOS :)

Try also Bochs, a freeware x86 emulator:
