I'm looking for a way to russify my computer, because I need it for some apps that I use. And those applications don't display Cyrillic letters, they display something more along the lines of this Ïåðâûé ðàç. I'm also experiencing this when using Java programs. I've enabled this "Language Bar" in Windows XP, where you can shift from English to Russian and suddenly type Russian letters with your English keyboard. So as far as displaying these letters correctly instead of just these weird Ïåðâûé ðàç, I don't have a clue.

It works fine in IE, but when it comes to installed programs, then all it has to show is Ïåðâûé ðàçÏåðâûé ðàçÏåðâûé ðàçÏåðâûé ðàç.

Does anyone know how to change this?

I'm not sure, but I installed a small program called flex-type and it works fine for me.

I think you'll need to download a Russian/Cyrillic character set. Not sure where that would be found though.
