SANCTA private PBEM or PTBS

This was a confirmed thing that we would do this so here is the thread. I finaly got civ 4 and warlords but not BTS (though I want BTS so bad. All they had at the store was the gold eddition). Any thoughts on PTBS, PBEM of game settings.

I'll play either way... but it might be easier to do a PBEM game, no host needed that way.

Can I suggest we play on a tiny map either way? Shorter games work better for this sort of thing, I think.

We could always have 2 or 3 games. BTW how do we set up a PBEM if we all have different versions (sort of). I think a PBEM is best too.

We would have to agree on a version. I favor playing BtS since we're gearing up to play it as a team. In this case, we would all need to update to the latest version of BtS. Then we would have to setup the player list (by turn order and including email addresses) so that we would know who to send to save to next.

But it seems BtS is the obvious choice for the main group PBEM...while it would still be possible, as Remake suggested, that we start Vanilla or Warlords games as well for those interested.

What about complete? And say you have all three, but you want to set up a PBEM for only BTS and not warlords, how do you do that?

If you want to set up multiple PBEMs, I suggest handling each one individually. For instance, if someone just wanted to play one game, they would just sign up for one.

If one were to admin multiple games it would make sense to compartmentalize the games IRT setup/players.

What about complete?

I don't know what you mean by complete...that's not quite a complete sentence though, I can tell you that!

I'd vote for BtS game - though I have all versions of Civ4 and am willing to play whatever.

Just beware: you risk me making some confused comments for Team SANCTA if we try to play a different version in our team game...

Thanks I'll look. Only rarely have I seen civ 4 on ebay and it's always a regular price.

EDIT: I got it. Thanks I've never seen it that cheap. Can we delay this PBEM until I get the game?

If you guys don't mind (since I'm still a beginner) I was wandering if we could play at a lower difficulty. Also I suggest two games one with just BTS and vanilla and another one with BTS, warlords and vanilla.
