I've been trying to open up and post save files, but it doesn't find any with the proper format, it gives me an error that says its not a valid CIV3 save.


Can anyone tell me how to change from .sav --> .biq?

I don't think so. You may wanna have a look at the Creation and Customization forum, I know that Steph is working on an editor that allows that.

A sav and a biq are two different things. A biq is a file used to create maps for the game. A sav is a file that is a short hand for the game from info in memory.

To post a save you just upload it as the format it is saved as nnnn.sav. You can also zip either and upload it.

What tool/app is telling you it is not a valid format?
