Lawrence Layton

Met with the other three of the Durham Four in Durham in the late 70s. They moved over to America fleeing the tyrannical reign of SheWhoMustNotBeNamed and set up in Metropolis along with many other migrants. Being from a rich British Family he had no trouble financing the set up for a criminal organisation and at this point runs a protection racket over many of the theaters and opera houses in the East of the City as well as a strong gambling presence. He is a brilliant man with a head for numbers and gambling.

Hubert Finbythwaite

Came across with Layton and the others Hubert led the less pretty line of the business, specifically the narcotics trading. He brings in a large amount of income for the group and thus always took a good pay home with him. Unfortunately he developed his own bad habits - rather than turning to Narcotics though he turned to the drink, very heavily. He had always drunk while back in Britain but the wealth afforded to him by the Durham Four allowed him to really drink to the excess.

Henry Davidson

Level headed and quick thinking Henry is the group's main man when it comes to finance and the law. He is trained as a lawyer and enjoys the privilege it beings him. Whereas everyone else took control of various criminal activities he took the job of clearing up for them and thus made many important contacts throughout the city.

Harry Wang

He gets the job done. Always on time and always right Harry Wang represents the protective element of the group. He is skilled in the art of intimidation and urban conflict. He keeps a tight ship and ensures all of the group's "operations" are conducted smoothly and swiftly with as little evidence left as possible. The only member of the four not to be white Harry is ethnically Chinese though was a 2nd generation immigrant to the UK.

Naomi Ireland-Jones

Brutal subordinate to Harry Wang she operates as a major racketeer and extortionist. Like the others she also traveled across at the same time she was never a member of the Durham four however. She merely followed them as she was romantically pursuing Henry at the time. Upon reaching Metropolis she slotted right into the operation.

Background on The Black Suits:

The Black Suits started in the Fifties. It was just two teens who would do petty crimes while wearing black suits. When the teens got to college, they moved on to blackmail and smuggling. Eventually, other college students wanted in on the action and The Black Suits went from a minor gang to a Mafia.

"Mister May:"

American, Caucasian, Male, Slim

Founder of the Mafia, thus the Boss of the Black Suits. He used the moniker "Mister May" when he first blackmailed a teacher to give him an A or he'll show people the picture of him hooking up with a prostitute. He originally wanted the gang to stay in the shadows so he wouldn't get in trouble with his parents but when the gang became a serious mafia, he decided it would be best to stay in the shadows to avoid conflict with other mafias. He runs his father's photo shop so he can process his blackmail photos without anyone having to handle his film.

"Doc Norton:"

American, Black, Male, Obese

Also part of the original two Black Suits and knew "Mister May" since childhood. Used the moniker "Doc Norton" so he could cash in forged checks. He has been "May's" right hand man since the gang started. He took over his uncle's pharmacy so he could use it as a front for The Black Suits' smuggling business.

Pete Zamyartin:

Russian, White, Male, Buff

Joined the Mafia in "May's" and "Norton's" late college years. They mainly hired him because he was strong and followed orders and was a good hencman/bodyguard. But they later found out he was quite agile which made him essential to spy on others and take pictures of them to blackmail them with. He's forced to work at a warehouse by "Mister May" so he can stay strong, even though he'd rather follow the career he was studying for in college, computer engineering.

Joey Clayton:

American, White, Male, Normal

A Vietnam War Veteran who fell on hard times and had to constantly borrow money from The Black Suits which he would pay off doing odd jobs for them. He quickly became well loved among the mafiosos and rose to Lt. position in a short matter of time. Since he is a Veteran, he is pretty good with guns and is usually given hit jobs. Unfortunately, he has very short temper and gets mad over ridiculous things. He works at a bowling alley because his brother, the owner, needed someone to hand out shoes and he felt pity for him not having a job. Joey still works there because it rakes in a little extra income.

Pablo "Smiley" Sanchez:

Mexican, Latino, Male, Normal

When Pablo came to America, he wanted to start on the new Video Game Craze by opening an arcade. Then the Great Video Game Crash of '83 happened and "Smiley" had to borrow money from The Black Suits. He couldn't pay them back so he had to do hits for them. Surprisingly, he really liked them, which led to the nickname "Smiley."

Furya

Furya is a lethal group of misfits that is composed of ex-military, ex-gang members, disgraced political figures, as well as the typical recruit from the downtrodden of Metropolis. Some may call it a gang itself, but in reality, it is a group of people who can only be called survivors. They are often criminals and convicts, soldiers and heroes, and upon joining the group all of them take a new name and persona. They exist simply to survive and to protect those in the group. It is a band of brothers, one that is ruthless about protecting its own, and is not hesitant to kill or commit crimes. Hell will freeze over before they allow one of their own to be attacked without payback, and then they shall walk on the ice of hell to do their duty.

Riddick

A specially bred genetic warrior. For decades now there have been secret government projects to create the ultimate warrior, a superior race to fight wars for them, whether in the open or the shadows. Riddick is the pinnacle of such abilities, yet he no longer serves those who created him. Believed to be dead at birth, he was discarded, and raised by a homeless couple in the western section of Metropolis. Once of age, he joined them military, and he returned an even harder man than when he left. He has a tendency to survive what would kill 10 other men at once, and come out the stronger for it, managing incredible feats in order to stay alive. He inspires a sense of loyalty among his followers that is unmatched, which is doubly strange as he is a solitary figure, tending to serve his own interests first and to avoid interacting with others unless a situation arises.

Spartacus

Spartacus is a charismatic SOB. He is just as good as any in a fight, yet his true value comes when leading men and women. He could meet a man on the corner one day, and have the man willing to die for him the next day. He is brutally honest and unflinchingly trustworthy. As such, he is trusted by Riddick, and is responsible for most of the recruiting, although he tends to make his home in the northern suburbs rather than the slums of the west.

Eren Jaegar

Eren is a man few know much about, even though he is the most flamboyant of the Furyans. He is passionate about whatever he does and his most noticeable trait is that he will get the job done no matter what with a willpower to rival the gods. Many suspect he is ex military but in fact he grew up on the streets of Berlin and was brought to metropolis by Riddick. Most likely the most compassionate.

Levi Ackerman

Levi is a man of few words and swift action. He is among the shortest men you will ever meet, yet just as intimidating as Riddick in his own way. With his agile and quick fighting style, few can follow his movements, let alone beat him in a fight. He tends to make his home among the more upper class citizens of metropolis in the center district, and as such doesn't get his hands dirty unless he has to, and typically doesn't like death, especially if unnecessary.

Mikasa Ackerman

Although having the same last name, she has no relation to Levi, yet holds a similar fighting style with being fast and agile. She has an iron will much like Eren, and the two have grown close since Eren has come to Metropolis, where Mikasa grew up. She grew up near Riddick in the western district in fact. She is part of the fury's to see the true gangs brought to justice, and is a bit of a crusader, her cool, calm, and icy cold vengeful demeanor serving as a complement to Eren. She currently resides in the central district, serving the ends of Riddick's plans.
