Briefing:

You, Field Marshal, have been chosen to lead the German armies to ultimate victory over our eternal enemies. By taking the oil fields in the Cacasus mountains, we ensure a supply of fuel that will not only provide us with the ability to fight on until the last day of the war, we deprive Russia's mechanized divisions of its vital lifeforce. In addition, you must smash the Reds at Stalingrad, a city that churns out roughly 1/4th of the enemy's vehicles. When we control the Volga, we have a strong defensive line to protect against any massive Communist assault. In addition, the factories in the Ural mountains will finally be within range of the Luftwaffe that may blast them to rubble. Once your primary objectives are met it will only be a matter of time before Leningrad and Moscow fall.

If the unthinkable should happen and you are unable to immediately complete your primary objectives, there is still hope. You will co-lead another summer offensive, code named operation "Zitadelle" (Citadel). You will strike at the Voronezh Front positioned inside the Kursk salient from our southern positions at Belgorod. The Communist forces inside will be crushed, leaving the rest of Russia relatively defenseless.

However, if fortune does not smile upon the Reich we will have 1 last card to play. Operation "Watch on the Rhine" will be launched against our Western enemies. You must hold on to our last oil fields with minimal reserves. The longer you hold out, the more troops we may use in the assault, thereby increasing our chances of success. This will buy us time to complete the developement of our super weapons, which no nation will have a chance to stand up against.

You will have at your disposal Germany's latest in military technology, including the strongest variants of the Mark IV, Panther, and Tiger tanks. Our Italian, Hungarian and Romanian allies have entrusted you with the command of their armies as well. But beware, our enemies are aggressive and fanatical. They will prove a difficult challenge to overcome, but I'm sure you can do it. Good luck Field Marshal!

We have a converter that convert MGE scnearios to FW and a converter that converts scenarios into TOT. Too bad there is no converter that go the other way.

Michael, is Final Days the 100 MB scenario you mentioned in another thread? That's one HUGE scenario, far bigger than the entire Classic Civ2 game (40 MB)!!

Does anybody knwo where you can find OLD time magazine covers?

One in 1944 had Erich von Manstein smiling from it.

Please let me know where you got those city graphics. There just awesome! I would love to have them in my upcoming Barbarossa scenario. I´m also a bit curious about those tanks. What game are they from? East Front?

This scn is going to be a blast! I can´t wait to test it. When do you think its finished?

My ToT scenarios:

Europe in Flames

The standard WW2 scenario that covers the entire european theater. This is the 100mb scenario UNZIPPED. Everything zipped up it was around 60mb I think, however most of that was in avi files which did not get uploaded. You can download it from the Cradle of Civilization hosted on Apolyton's site. If civfanatics or anybody else is willing to host it... please do!

Legacy of Dracula

This was my entry to the SDC#3. It lost

but oh well. I actually thought it was my best scenario, but more scenarios were submitted to the contest than people who actually voted for best scenario. Would civfanatics be interested in hosting this one as well?

Final Days

The work in progress with the screenshots in this thread. There are no avi files for this one, and there are less sound files (so far at least) so it should be smaller than Europe in Flames. It will be under 20mb zipped. A lot of the graphics were taken from Talonsoft's East Front, these include all tanks, artillery, cities and even some aircraft. The only hand drawn units are the infantry. Right now I am in the playtesting stage of the scenario, currently at the battle of Kursk. I must finish playtesting which will probably include making final adjustments to the events file, and find some background wav music like I use in all my scenarios. Then it should be done and ready. Like I said, it probably will be finished before Dec 2001, but if there are unexpected delays I don't want upset anyone. Better to release it earlier than later than expected.

To Ernesto and anybody else it may concern:
You are free to use any/all graphics from the scenario for your own purposes when released. I don't think Talonsoft will mind.

We are getting www.civfanatics.net to handle all of our downloads since 3dDownloads is always having problems. www.civfanatics.net should be up and running by the end of the month.
We will host your scenario definately.
