This is likely the last poll the Science Department will have before closing for the elections.

Mysticism will give us our last component of philosophy so I recommend going for that.

Very soon will be the post demanding Polytheism, so AoA, I want to say we'll probably head towards gunpowder or monotheism next, so please be patient. We haven't even met any other civs yet anyway.

I'm all in favor of getting to Phil first, but as Hippo said, we need Monotheism, so How about getting to Phil, and then going for Monotheism tract?

Gunpowder should wait untill after BOTH Monotheism and Invention, so we can have Mic's (happiness), and Leo's(All modern units).

Then we get gunpowder, and watch our warriors become Muskteers, and our horses become Crusaders! (we will also need Chiv for that, BTW)

After thinking it over carefully I have decided that republic would be our best choice.
It would let us be a Republic, and I think it is a useful prerequisite, if my mind serves
me correctly

Because if we switch to republic and won't have catherdals in loong time,
then there will be SEVERAL rebels. Pretty simple.

The easiest way of maximising the republic government is by having the MC and we need monothism for that.. Once we start building it then we can research republic and change government at the same time.

There would be no benefit if we rushed to republic now as we would have to set lux at 30 -50 % to stem off unhappiness and be no better off from a science point of view
