I'm making a Scottish Civ. I've got everything sorted, except I can't think of a UB for them. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I do think Angus Podgorny (a Scottsman) won Wimbledon once.

I didn't think there were any stereotypes about the ginger-bearded-kilt-wearing-mars-bar-deep-frying-haggis-eating scots....
Disclaimer: I have nothing against the scots. It's just fun to take the piss

how about somthing to do with ship building as they did build ships for thr british navy but yea we do drink to much  we use anything to drink even when we lose at football  also scotland was the oil Capital of Europe but times are hard :P maybe a college to replace Uni just because of are driffernt Education in scotland i dunno just give you some ideas

I've already done it with a tavern. Replaces market, +35%:commerce: (the government does charge a lot of tax on alcohol:mad:) and +1:) with wheat. Plus, you Scots don't have a monopoly on alcohol, we consume a fair bit south of the border too. However, you do have the monopoly on deep fried Mars bars;)

Mmmmm... Haggis...

How about Mercat Cross to replace the Market?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercat_cross
A mercat cross is a market cross found in Scottish cities and towns where trade and commerce was a part of economic life. It was originally a place where merchants would gather, and later became the focal point of many town events such as executions, announcements and proclamations.

Not sure what the special characteristics should be though...
