Screen vibrating in CivIII

Hi people,

I just purchased, Civ III +PTW and Conquests. In all 3 games I experience the same problem. The top of my screen, no matter where I am in the game, seems to be vibrating. I've downloaded the latest drivers and patches for both the game, my graphicscard and my screen yet none of it worked.
I own a IIyama Vision master pro 450 and a Geforce 3 T5, none of the other games has this problem.

Has anyone over heard of it or experienced this before?

I know this seems obvious, but is your cell phone anywhere near the top of your monitor? They cause a ton of interference, often even when they're not "in use".

Similarly, a lot of electronics cause interference - amps, some speakers, etc.

Granted, if this is the case you'd see interference no matter what you're running.. is that the case, or is it Civ3 only?

Hehehe, yup the first thing I did was checking for cellphones and other devices but it's just Civ III that has the problem. Other games I've tried, both old and new, haven't experienced any problems.

At a guess, I'd say the problem is the video mode civ is using.
If you have a 19" monitor, a low refresh rate will make the screen seem to vibrate like that. Try adding Refresh=75 or Refresh=85 to the civ .ini files.
