Know how everyone never has a save from when they take it hard from the RNG in a game? Heres one. I didnt bother calculating the odds, but three elite medievil infantries all losing to one unfortified berzerk. Try it out. Make sure you attack with the three MI first. They are in the middle of the continent stacked with the ancient cav.

Very unlikely, but it can happen - loosing an elite modern armour against a conscript warrior in open field is possible.I'm sure there is someone out there, who have made those experience...
You can reduce this problem if you simply double the amount of hitpoints for every rank (means conscript 4, reguler 6 etc... and to balance it out with artillery also double all ROF values) in the editor, but cannot prevent happen such odds things sometimes.

Urgh, this happens to me so often. Sometimes I just feel like throwing my monitor out the window due to it.

hehe... i can remember losing a modern armor attacking barbarian warrior once.

Much more common frustration is when my cavalry seem unable to kill a longbowman.

If it had hapenned to me I would have uninstalled the game...
then reinstall it

Only one thing can be done: reload

By the time you're fighting barbs w/ modern armor, it really doesn't matter if you lose one.
