Yay, my first submission was accepted and is in the HoF. Yay!
You weren't waiting for the update to find out about your game acceptance, were you? Just so you know, when you're logged into the HOF, you can click on "My Submissions" and see the up to the minute status of all your games. ;) :)

Congratulations to Own and Head Serf, and of course to zex for joining the club. I'm still the last one there :D.

Great! I have a game of mine worth something!
Actually I'll soon try to do the same in the upper levels. There are a lot of slots in standard, I'm quite surprised. Why do you guys all go for huge games that take months? If I ever see a game of mine that took me 100 hours I'll stop civving...

I have to milk in Civ because I'm lactose intolerant in real life. :D

Actually, if you look I think you'll notice that the overwhelming majority of HOF activity is on Tiny and Small maps.

Yes, but not in the MILK-ing category... Those are mainly done on huge maps.
The small and tiny are better for the octatlon...

In the "Old" days, the HOF consisted simply of High-Score tables for different Map sizes. So, for the mostpart, if you wanted to get in the HOF with a High Score, you had to Milk a Huge Map, lactose intolerant or not! :)

Maybe this is what I should try to get into this milking thing. My OCC histographic game is letting me down in the QC standings. How long did your game take, Khan?

Thanks 'slug. I never noticed that!

i know that some of my games may have inflated times. I'll often leave them running when I take a break-maybe for more than an hour at a stretch if I get distracted!

Still, 37 hours sounds OK. Maybe this can be my gateway to a better QC score. I'll check out the times for the huge maps as well though whilst I'm at it.

Might be a good idea to take an aspirin and call an ambulance first. You're likely in for some heart trouble when you look at them.

No kidding! Now I see why these games are so highly valued. Maybe I'll stick to the G-minor games for a while as in my current situation, one of those games would take up all of my civ time until Christmas!

I *think* I've got the only Huge milk run in progress at the moment, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if it's the last one before IV is released.
