After having done some research in the dictionary:
Although Aureum is the more commonly used adjectivum (adjective), the substantivum (noun) Aurum can also be used to say that something is made of gold.
I think the best way to go about doing this would be to create a poll on which "golden horse" variant should be used in the official city name poll, it's a bit complicated, but it seemed to work well enough when we had to decided on the none of the above variant for the capital.
Ahh, but that's life in the real world. How many places used to belong to one tribe and now belong to another? Names get changed in the process. C'est la vie. Besides, we seem to have an energetic cartographer. Let's keep him busy. ;-)
