Until the policy had been reshuffled (or in the event that 3 governments in a row had failed) every one was going to end up with 2 fascist and 1 liberal.

Yeah.... I really didn't appreciate how you dogpiled onto me. Made doing my work so much harder than it had to be. You took the wind out of my sails in trying to manipulate the heat away from both of us.
Which I want to make clear because this is going to be the most frustrating thing I ever had to admit:

I knew as soon as I got it, I got the absolute worst possible result I could have gotten from the draw. My strategy up to that point was to try to look liberal, use the confusion of everyone else to the best of my ability, and get rakkoon elected chancellor as soon as the wincon was unlocked. Instead, joan uses absolutely insane logic to brand me a fascist, hitler joins in because screw you I guess, and I can't shake the accusation even when I was completely telling the truth. Not only that, but then Tak gets the scan which allows him to mechanically know joan is lib even when he wasn't supposed to get a scan, this was the most stressful game of secret hitler I ever played.
Which you know, I just mentally clocked out of the game once the whole scan fiasco happened because I chalked it up as unwinnable at that point. I nominated tak not because I thought it would keep him out of government like he thought I did at the end (I knew it wouldn't invalidate him, and AA was free to renominate him, which I thought he was going to do), but simply because I thought the best thing I could do was intentionally act stupid in an attempt to obfuscate what the hell I was doing. If I nominated topsecret, everyone would think he was my scumbuddy. If I did it to rakkoon, everyone thought he was the scumbuddy. Nominate tak, who everyone was convinced was lib? None of you got any useful information and I got what I thought was going to be my last laugh. I literally pulled up the chaos is a ladder speech after doing that, and I was debating about posting that as my end game post if I somehow ended up winning with no further explaination but I guess I still want to give my post-game thought process to everyone anyways.
Anyways, voted nein on that, because I actually really didn't want Tak in government. Never have a lib in government as a fascist when you're one lib policy away from victory. Even if you're the only non-hitler fascist. Then AA noms rakkoon and I knew the best thing I could do given everyone's read of me as a fascist was to simply not say anything at all and let you all dig your own graves and here we are.
Wish I could say that was my master secret plan all along but I was winging the hell out of it by the very end once everything got sufficiently derailed.
And I didn't tell what the scan result was… please remind me not to be a gentleman again.
