namsayen?

Is there any way to set a rally point that only affects military units? When I first used a rallying point, it was very annoying to have every worker and settler gravitate to it.

thanks
gimme an example on how can I use it?

Well, in my early years where I was playing Chieftan and wondering why the AI was too darnned easy I would always have a city at the edge of the AI's country.

I would go "Set Continental Rally Point" at that city, and wait for about twenty swordsmen and 10 catapults to arrive there. All of the untis made just walked right over there, without me having to click them or anything.

Of course, there is less control. "Rally Points" are for convenience, and less control. It's kind of like Automatic vs. Manual for your cars.

no, I dont like it then.
thanks for tellin me.
but when I usually attack.
I have like 2-4 groups of 10 attacking at different points.
so a rally point would mess up my war plan.

The best use of a rally point is during the long build up before a large overseas invasion. You'll want to get all your invasion units (land and sea) to the same one city on your continent closest to your intended oversea landing point. You'll also want reinforcement to be launched from the same point too.

No, all units will travel to the spot. That's the reason why the Continental Rally Point is useless.
