Settings changing randomly?

Anyone else had this issue? Once in a while, the settings in the "Options" menu of Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword default without warning. I'm just wondering what the cause could be.

I've had that problem with certain mods, but not with regular BTS (well, BUG)
