settle in place... or?

yeah settle in place. Too much food not to. You'll get the freshwater bonus from the lake and have cottagable stuff to the right and an irrigated corn.

Yeah, defiently scout NE then N for extra info on the surrounding area. Unless there is something amazing off to the E then settle wheer you are and have the city gear up for production or GP.

Don't forget about those fishies! I would scout first, but as it looks now I'm inclined to settle in place.

What exactly is it that is troubling you about this location? Looks pretty good to me. Maybe we could be more help if we knew what you were thinking.

Moving one E would put you on a river but loses the corn(?). I'd do it if your scout reveals some other resources that will be in new fat cross to replace the corn. You could always save that for another city post Iron Working.

You've all been trolled. Re-read that sentence, and then look at his Civ name in the image he attached.

Naw, it just means he likes gay kiddie porn. Umm...yeah.

Settle in place seems best -- you get a fresh water bonus anyway, so there's no real advantage to settling on the river. You might try moving the Scout 2E just to see what else is over there, but I doubt you'd find anything special.
