Several Small Requests

I have some small requests of things I would like to see in C3:C

- A WW1 modpack (I heard you can damage terrain, so I already plan to make a WW1 scenario for Conquests when it comes. Might as well help me out.)

- Planes, Tanks, and Poison Gas (where are the Biplanes, the transition fron ww1 era to ww2 era is too abrupt. Also, we need some early tanks to make a slight breach in lines in the trench fights that will occur before the rise of tanks as the spearhead. And dont forget chemical weapons to use on enemy infantry or cities. Using them would have slight negative effects on world opinion, unless its used on a city. Also, some big howlitzers would be cool for heavy bombardment, give them higher BB rates than artillery and mabye even radar AT and use them for fortress BB.)

- Faster Navies ( the navy is too slow at sea, I would at least double the movement rates for all ships except galleys. Also, AEGIS cruisers should be able to carry cruise missiles, say 5 of them. Then you can use them for what they are really used for.)

- Nuclear detterent (If other nations knew if another country possesed nuclear weapons as public knowledge, not how many just if they had them might be an interesting device. They had that in civ 2, and I would like to see some tense situations like the Cubam Missile crisis where you blackmail countries with Nukes.)

- Precision Strikes need to hit something ( Precision strikes and stealth planes never seem to hit anything, change that because in reality the NEVER seem to miss their targets.)

- Bombardment ranges need to be higher ( catapult and cannon ranges i can understand, but AT and Rader AT need to be larger, say 3 for AT, and 4 for Radar aT. For my Howlitzer idea make it a 4. making planes and bombers have more range too is essential, at least double them, and make stealth Bombers have unlimited range, those things can hit pretty much anything on the planet from bases half way around the world. and lets not forget cruise missiles that can hit from very far away.)

And please make those marines stronger, they are crap for their time pertiod, they should be 12-8-1. and paratroopers should be 10-12-1 and cost 10 more shields tham marine.

Those are my main suggestions, and I hope something is done about them.

OK, just one so that you don't feel too lonely ! :p

Otherwise some interesting ideas, but most of them have been discussed quite a while already (ex : navy movement (which I totally and unconditionnally agree with)).
About nuclear power blackmail : it is already possible to blackmail a country because you have a much superior army (which includes ICBMs and stuff). Of course the AI has sometimes strange ways of answering to backed up threats ! :crazyeye:

Gas is an interesting, albeit politically incorrect, idea...
 
They probably wont add gas, but It would be nice for my WW1 scenario, which is what I was getting at. And you can blackmail civs with your army, but what If they knew you had nukes? that isnt in he game but its something I would like to see.
 
I agree with most of what you say about how strong the Marines should be, but they should be stronger than that. I also like the idea of launching missles from AEGIS cruisers that would be very usefull, but I don't see any thing about SP AT.
 
Pimps should be a unit. they wouldn't be in the normal game, but should be included for free for use in a scenario. i don't agree with their line of work, but they sure look funny. [pimp][pimp][pimp][pimp][pimp][pimp][pimp]

Good point! I do that all the time in my mod, put AT at 3 and Radar AT at 4. But also Cruisemissle at 6!
