I like the idea of going for the Colossus. The two island cities will produce a lot of science until astronomy. The AI rarely beelines for it so we might have a good shot at it. We should wait until after economy recovery to go to war.

Finnished my turns ( I belived that I played 1 more turn).
Unfortunatelly ... bad news.
1. Lose 1 Axeman when try to prevent a barb-axeman to pillage our farm near Copper-town.
2. Lose exploring Workboat to a barbarian galley ... damn ! it came from nowhere to attack us !!
Some relatively good news :
1. We are 1 turn away from Code of Laws.
2. A settler await on cow-island.
3. Win 3 or 4 battles against barb axeman or archers which try to pillage our improvement.
Neutral news :
1. Christianity found in Sevilla.
2. Taoism founded somewhere ...
Regards all
Big Pig said:That doesn't sound too bad. We have to accept the occasional loss of units when dealing with barbs. As a side note, we should always try to defend rather than attack wherever possible to maximise our advantage.
The wb is unfortunate and the lack of one will limit the ability of Cow Island to grow quickly. Do we have another on the way?
Can you post some screenshots?
nfora said:That'd be me, I'll play later this afternoon or this evening. I don't think we'll want to declare war during my turns, but I'll (try to) get a bit of a force put together for us. Are we going to go pottery->metal casting or mathematics->construction or something else? Throw out some ideas for me!
Big Pig said:Difficult without seeing any screenshots. I'll try to look at the save game tonight before you play.
johnpaulcain said:Just a note Mitui It doesn't look like you are using Binary science. I have noticed from the screenshots that the slider has been set at 40% and 10%. It's a bit of micro-management but it is better to have the slider on 0% or 100% due to rounding errors.

I'm up next.
What do you guys think we should do?
