Roster is getting thin. Let's get this game finished.

My main comment is that the turns are adding up. This means we'd be lucky if we finish before turn 300 and 40 wonders is rather low at that stage. We should consider building some other wonders ourselves. Easiest way is corporation and perhaps we can build some world wonders before the game is over.

Pigswill can you check which techs we'd need to build some more wonders and if we can arrange some great people to build corporations?

I would rather spend 10-20 turns extra if we can slip in extra wonders than rush to a finish and miss our main goal.

Hi guys, sorry once again for my lack of input in this game.
Real life is incredibly hectic at the moment, and only likely to change further in the coming months.

On the bright side, my first child is due in 3 months, so I may have some more civ time as work travel slows down then.

I reckon I'll probably run cash to upgrade cannon to artillery before putting beakers into assembly line. I reckon that artillery is a major step up from cannon, obviously there's a big difference in strength and artillery can take on infantry and win. Not quite so obviously artillery is immune to flanking damage from cavalry.

I've had 3 ctds in less than 1 turn. This is not fun. On the other hand I've saved the game at least 10 times during this turn so I don't have to go back very far and I'm able to reconstruct moves exactly. Nonetheless its very tedious.
I'll pm AlanH to let him know. I won't post any details of what I've done.

Unloaded some cannon and swords at Wotnomarble. Moved Narak towards Wotnomarble.

Upgraded 2 CR3 swords to grens and 1 cannon to arty (570gp in total!).

Loaded a bunch of (not upgraded) units at Watnomarble (including Narak the Prophet) and headed west. Thought of a new plan: this little stack would take Calcutta and Palipatura.

Upgrade CR axe and CR sword to grens.
Trash Ranch starts National Park.
Bombard Delhi. Seige weaken defenders, lose 5 cannon. Melee/cav beat up defenders without loss. 1 defender left.
Send small force to Burgundium (barb city north of Wotnomarble captured by Gandhi).

Sell liberalism to Bod for 520gold.

T3. 1800.
Capture Burgundium, lose a rifle.
Start disbanding naff units (axes, spears etc).
Gandhi sneaks another half dozen defenders in Delhi. Lose 2 cannon and a rifle.
