SGOTM 15 - Kakumeika

Tachy sent me a notification saying something like I better show up or something ;).

I was thinking a lot about this SGOTM, and given I really lack the time for a full commitment and that is the case for an indefinite part of the future, I was thinking of registering as an official lurker for Kakumeika for this one. My real life is very intense (excuses, excuses ...), and I really wouldn't like to give any promises, and then skip turnsets, or worse, delay them as this looks like a longish game setup.
Our team is one of the most demanding ones (in the top three both times thaks to that I suppose), and gameplay preparations often take hooours.

Now that Tachy pushed me in the open field ;) I ask what does the team say?

I could do a test or two, and READ all of the posts as always ;).

cheers

I'd say just sign up as a full member. Skip your turn set when RL demands it. Just contribute when you have the time to do so.

On the other hand, if you feel more comfortable as a lurker, I'm fine with that too. Not sure that lurkers get official credit in their personal xOTM record for SGOTM placements like full members do. Does anyone else know this?

An "official lurker" may read and post in your thread, but is not allowed to view other team threads, not allowed to submit saves, not allowed to divulge anything about the game ahead of where the team is if they are shadow-playing it themselves - and to be sure of avoiding accidents should not even shadow-play ahead of your team's pace). "Official lurkers" do not share in laurels or spoons.

Frankly, its a whole lot easier on staff if you just sign up as a player and work it out with the team what your role will be and whether you'll play turnsets or not.
