SGOTM 23 - Turbo Ants

Note that AIs threaten with axes as soon as they have access to copper, whether they've built any or not.

Yes, I'm aware of that. My point was that his copper is connected just by being on the river. I incorrectly remembered that it also had to have a road on it.

In case you missed it since it's on the last page, I'd like to know what it will cost us in Paris if we steal the deer in CEB for insurance. Maybe we don't need that insurance but that's the case with most insurance. :p

It'd delay the settler 1t, right? Paris would grow to pop6 a turn later. We either make that up by roading Stone-1S or suck it up.

But in any case, you don't have to decide this turn, right? Because CEB doesn't need the deer till next turn, iiuc.

Btw, now I see why you didn't want to give up the deer. Been a while since I studied that MM. ;)

Another stopgap solution would be to chop an archer in CEB if all else fails. At CEB-SW which would require a second worker. If ourwarrior and slave survive, then we just trust our knowingness wrt to the CF mechanics.

+1 on letting Paris have the deer. It's on WT and me if this goes wrong, Mitchum. ;)

Since Fred's workers are going to build our railroads, do you think BSP will allows us to re-name it The Fred Express?

Our slave driving warrior has earned a promotion. He should swap places with the chariot. Paris needs a garrison.

We need to monitor the Berlin hammers to see what he's building. We like to see he's building with food hammers. Would we rather deny him copper or steal more workers? I'd probably deny the copper, but it comes with a risk. I've had two archers attack my chariot before.

The chariot could pillage the sheep pasture to invite more workers.

pillage sheep?

Couldn't at the time. Fred's wandering warrior was 1 tile south of our only escape route. I could go back and pillage it now if we want to tempt fate. Still only 1 warrior in Hamburg. The other one is at Hamburg-3S1W. Fred does not know Mysticism so no culture possibilities...

The chariot can pillage it if he's going to drive slaves.
