Hi,

I'm pretty sure this is an issue the team is aware of and I'm faintly afraid it's an unfixable one, but I'll report it anyway.

Two player team vs AI today. Me Luchuirp, my friend Ljosafar. We attacked an AI city, he brought a bunch of mages, me golems and adepts for repairing. At some point, he had the city defenders very much burnt half to death and I attacked with barnaxus. I had a 94.7% chance and of course I lost. Some hunter got barnaxus's shards. So my friend kept firebombing the city when one of his fireballs killed the hunter.

No more Barnaxus for me.

Of course the fireball couldn't retain the shards, so they were removed from the game.

I don't know how much work this would be, but if you could just give the shards to the mage who cast the fireball? Otherwise, if that'd be easier, how about if the shards magically disappear like this, you enable Barnaxus for building again; fresh without any xp etc.

I do believe that items will be implemented more in a future version (Fire?). The same thing happens if you have Orthus's Axe on a summoned creature. It is a known problem though, and being worked on, if I'm correct.

The equipment system is speced for "Shadow".

I dont know that I would call it a problem though. Before 0.16 you couldn't rebuild Barnaxus at all. Now you can sometimes. But I can definitly understand the feature request to go for a more complete equipment system that allows for things like this, we want it too.

Yeah, yeah, objectively speaking I know you're right, Kael, but NINETYFOUR POINT SEVEN PERCENT!

Life's not fair! I was so looking forward to playing around with Barnaxus ;)

Yeah, this game is a damned cheater, I will let you win at 20% with a useless unit to give you some trust in chance, but if you attack with a hero at 95%, the AI cheat and kill your hero :D

No cheating involved. Just standard probability.

I dislike the 100%, though. It's not a true 100% (obviously) but a consequence of rounding.

There no longer is a 100% in the vanilla version after Warlords, I think. It's been changed to >99,9%

That would be a good change.
