Shootout - A Mini Mafia [concluded]

Rock on. Good game everyone. You had us working literally to the last minute to pull this off.
 
I concur with BSmith, was a somewhat risky move on the last day, but needed. Had Jarrema been on before the update (or NinjaCow64), we would of lost (unless I stole the best gun). Certainly a close end to the game.


I would say we had a bit of good luck on both the good guys being killed night 1, and bad luck in BSmith being the target the first 2 days for a shootout. Pretty much cancelled each other out, and IMO, made it more fun at the end, or should I say stressful? lol.
 
Good game. We still had a small chance -- if you tried to kill me I was hiding from both of you -- no kill and a shootout next day. I think at least. Though with the gun situation it might not matter even then.

No, I had the best gun in the game. So if I got voted as one of the duellists then we would have one. Still, very good game to you Mafia. Also, apologies to GhostWriter for killing you off when you had such an awesome role.
 
Orders & Events:

Day 1:
The town puts BSmith and JoanK up to fight. JoanK dies.

Night 1:
Mat steals the Relic Pistol from Daveshack.
BSmith kills Classical Hero.
Ghostwriter confronts Ninjacow.
Classical Hero blocks DarthNader.
Daveshack hides from BSmith and Classical Hero.
Ninjacow lynches Ghostwriter.
DarthNader does nothing.

Day 2:
The town puts BSmith and DarthNader to a fight. DarthNader dies. BSmith is injured by 2.
Ninjacow gets the Silver Six-shot, the Sharpshot, and the umbrella.

Night 2:
MartinLuther and Jarrema go for the pistol and Jarrema gets it.
BSmith kills MartinLuther.
Mat steals the Crowbar from Jarrema.
Daveshack hides from MartinLuther and Mat.

Day 3:
The town puts Ninjacow and Jarrema up to a fight. Jarrema dies.
Mat gets the Machine Gun.

Night 3:
BSmith kills Ninjacow.
Daveshack hides from BSmith and Mat.

Day 4:
Daveshack, the final townie, dies.
The Bad Guys win!

Thoughts:

Day & Night 1: I was worried the town and Good Guys were too strong. But since the Good Guys died right away, that evened the playing field. That also seriously injured the town's chanches of winning. :p

Day & Night 2: The town wisely gives Ninja the guns.

Day & Night 3: I'm not sure if the town could've won.

Day 4: End of game.

Misc. ->
This would work better on a larger scale. Anyone think I should do a large game?

This was the post that changed the game. Due to their superior weapons, they had a chance, but we could of won without this, just harder. Plan without it:

Spoiler :

Day 3: Wait until the end, as we did, and then both swap to DaveShack (we knew from my ability his gun was strength 2).
Night 3: Kill Ninja.
Day 4: Set up my lynch (would of been 2:1, might not of continued anyway, but Jarrema would of been the strongest player left). That would leave BSmith alive, for the nightkill.


Also, I'm not sure if anyone really realises how crucial this day was, and that we controlled one of the positions in the lynch. Sure, we had to reveal ourselves, but with the small risk of someone changing the vote before the update (which we thought we could get 1 minute before, instead of hours, but turned out alright).

Thoughts:

I think the game was a bit unbalanced from the bad luck of the Good Guys dieing night 1, so a bigger game should reduce the effort of that (assuming bigger teams all round). Can you elaborate on the mechanics of a gun getting weaker?
