Should I worry about an "uncorrectable sector"?

OK, but I might try calling you on perspective. If you ask which component in my computer will be obsolete first, then it's easy to go along with you. If you ask which would fail first, well...

The fans? The PSU? The CPU if the fans die? The GPU if you OC/OV it. (Seen it in action, it just gets slower...and slower...and dies)
Really, it depends on your circumstances.

Ahem...

A quality built PSU, used appropriately, kept clean of dust and not subjected to lightning will probably last as long as anything else. Until recent years this meant any typical PSU.

Overclocking? no brainer.

Fans? Don't qualify for this discussion...a mere accessory.

:D

So then we're setting limits. Well in that case, If I submerge my entire pc in a mineral oil tank, have HEPA filtered fans for the radiators and keep everything as low as possible, it will last for quite a while too.
Any component that has moving parts is liable to fail, and generally, fans last less. And they're not mere accessories. I dont even want to see what happens to my cpu if the fan on the heatsink dies. Or worse yet, the GPU.
