Should We Trade Monarchy?

Welcome to the first major trade poll of the Term. Todays question: Do we go and trade Monarchy first to the Zulu for
*Construction, World Map, Teritory Map and 25g?

Then trade both Construction and Monarchy to any other civ for Code of Laws and Literature?

Only trade Monarchy to the Romans if we are going to go to war with them in the next 3 turns. (ie; 2 turns before war with them, then you can trade it). Otherwise, I'd wait until we get Currency to do trading, and then see what we have to do to trade techs. Hopefully we won't need to use Monarchy to get back to tech parity. One exception: If the AIs enter the Medieval Age, then use Monarchy. So I'll vote no.

I voted yes. If we don't trade it someone else will research it and its value will go down.

P.S.:why are we so afraid of dealing with other nations?

I am wondering if my deputy is going over my head and positng these things.

I strongly urge the citizens to vote no on this measure. We should at least maintain a techical superiority.

Also, if we trade Monarchy, other nations would be eligable to build the Hanging Gardens.

If they want to threaten us they could also just ask for tech. You may have noticed that our treasury is shrinking each turn and we need gold to upgrade to samurai and build more embassies.

We don't have any wonderbuilding cities, none of them have the sufficient population to build anything in time. The AI WILL get monarchy eventually and probably finish Hanging Gardens before us. Hanging Gardens is going to go obsolete soon anyways.

Yeah, it cracked me up. I found it under "dancing" in the uploads8 server. It seemed to fit Stuck's broadway musical's theme.

And I'm not afraid of dealing with other nations. Every Demogame we play, all we do is trade off our tech advantages, all the time. Can't we get a change here? Now we have an advanced form of Govt. that we put A LOT of effort into getting and now you want to give it away for peanuts. THAT"S INSANE!
