Sid Meier's Pirates AAR - Any Interest?

I've been thinking of starting a Sid Meier's Pirates AAR for a while...would there be any interest if I did so?

As is the trend with CFC AARs now, there would of course be a 'crew' of scurvy, sweaty, stinking CFCers to vote on what courses of action we should take. Which nations to align ourselves with if any, what ship to use, weather we follow the main quest or not...that kind of stuff.

If there is a bit of interest, I'll start a new thread for the AAR proper in afew days.

Personally I think the whole thing will be worth it just for all the inevitable AAR / Aaargh! jokes.

PS: I welcome suggestions for the name of this poor pirate.

I would follow this, but the problem is that Pirates already has a storyline. Are you planning on following the storyline or do something entirely else?

Okay cool. I just wanted to make sure that I wouldn't be posting away to only myself.

I like the name 'Thunderbrush'. Has a nice ring to it.

@Berrie: The 'story' will be whatever emerges out of the gameplay, be that the main quest or the many side quests.

Here is a preliminary crew list. Feel free to request changes, but don't worry if your a powder monkey or something. The list is mostly for novelty value.

@e350tb: You won't be required to do much no matter what position your in. All you need to do is drop into the thread every few days or so (whenever there's an update), and provide your input on what you think we should do next. (plunder port x...dig up buried treasure y...etc)

But seeing as you wanted an unimportant job, you can be a powder monkey.

As for the name of the ship, I like the sound of 'Grog Galley' for our first vessel. Other suggestions are welcome.

I'll post the first update tomorrow.
