Signposts///geographic names

Any word on how these are implemented? Can you mark any territory with a name, or must you be in control of the land, ala SMAC? And will MP players see your names, too (e.g., if you name a mountain "Mt. McKinley", for example)?

I am not a beta tester, but I can assure you that signposting of terrain is DEFINITELY in the game. Also, you can draw lines and stuff on the map-to help plan attacks with your allies and the like. Does this info help?

i am guessing the warplan part really only helps in MP...or can the AI understand this?? Like EE2??

Or, the AI will actually be struck with fear as they interpret it as a giant phallic symbol aimed right at their capitol...
