Sirius Intra-Team Pitboss Game!

Well if you want I could play in his stead for now.

Sure, that sounds fine. Dave will just need to boot Allan's civs to AI, then you'll be able to join.

OK, those civs are ready to be grabbed.
Since Maya are my neighbour, can i play with them? So at least my team can count on a financial Civ.

Only major issue is you're on a different team. ;)

I played the turn for both civs.

I don't know what's up.
I open BTS, and when arrive to the connect screen, it freezes.
I have to restart the system, no way to go out.

I've seen hellhound has played for me, feel free to do so until you see i can log in.

Any idea?

edit:
sorry, i tried for the 4th time and it was the damn firewall. It's all right, now.

I didn't actually realise Scott had been missing his turns. In fact, looking at Civstats now, it seems he only ever played one turn. Did he not realise that a sub is supposed to take over for a period of time, not just for a single turn?

In any event, if Scott is still able to play, it'd be good if he could do so. If he's not able to play, then we should get someone else in to sub for him.

Eliminiated! How does that happen on your own turn?
I had been playing immediately at the turn flip every turn for the last several turns (the declaration of war was last turn). I had assumed that Scott was playing later in the turn. Thus, the turn order was Me-Scott.

Either way though, it wouldn't have made a difference. If Scott had logged in before me this turn, he couldn't have produced any additional units in his capital before I took it, because it's simultaneous turns. And I had a huge number of Chariots "just in case", so even if he had produced 2-3 more units it wouldn't have made a difference.

I never liked the French any ways

Ok, I'll ask a new question. How the hell have you already built stonehenge, the great wall, the freaking pyramids and a big pile of chariots as well by turn 50?
Pindicator (I think) built the Pyramids, not me. (Impressive getting it that early, by the way dude. I was still a while off.)

I did build Stonehenge and the Oracle with Huayna though. So to answer your question, Ragnar built most of my Chariots. It's the great thing about having 2 civs; and that's why I picked one Industious and one military leader. ;)

I would have had them on Turn 45 if my roommate's router hadn't gone belly-up for a few days :(

Either way, it's hard to compete with what you've accomplished LP. 2 wonders, a good military, and now an eliminated civ!

Anyway I think we need to dogpile LP ASAP!!!!!!
I don't really have that much of a lead. I only gained one city by the war, and I'm only one wonder up on you. (And I'd argue I'm even with Pindicator, because the Pyramids is so much better than either Stonehenge or the Oracle.) Besides, I don't think any of the rest of you are on my continent, because I haven't met anyone else yet.

All three games Dave is hosting just went down.
