So i am new to all this but i was quite annoyed at the Sizes we got for the large and Huge map sizes in Civ 6. so today i modified the game files to allow for larger worlds.

If you uninstall the mod it will not affect save games created with it.

How to use
game creation
just go into create a game > Choose Map Size > Large CIV V/ Huge CIV V

World Builder
just go Start World Builder > New Map > Choose Map Size > Large CIV V/ Huge CIV V

Installation
1. export the Size Does Matter.zip file
2.open the Size Does Matter folder
3.Find Your Civ 6 install location...

Out of curiosity, what was your reasoning for doing a replacement of original files rather than just an add/update mod?

I tried to do it the mod folder way but i just couldn't figure it out. this was my first real attempt at making a mod and the options wouldn't appear in the map size selector.

Ah, fair enough. I had my own issues working it out as well. Fortunately there were a couple of folks who had done some larger map sizes before me that I looked real hard at.

What I'm running into now is trying to get continent names to stay on a reload (someone seems to have done this, but it's an overwrite thing. I try to avoid those) and a couple of other things with map sizes that are being difficult.

Feel free to ask for help on anything, lots of good folks here that'll toss you help if you need it.
