Slave Revolts and Anarchy?

I was wondering, what happens if there is a slave revolt in your capital and you switch civics/convert religion, in other words go into anarchy (if you're not playing a spiritual leader that is), what happens exactly?

I assume both the anarchy and revolt happen on the same turn. If thats true it would seem that a slave revolt is a good time to change civics/religion.

I've tried it out and that's what I was thinking.

It works! Hurray.

Just remember while using this strategie to don't change if not needed. If a civic change is not very important you can wait till a slave revolt, they happen very often. As losing a turn would happen as always.
