Intro to Sneak Attack!

The year was 1540 B.C. India(Me) was dominating the world culturally but it was the smallest empire in the world. Earlier they had gotten into a little fight with Japan and now the known world had 3 pacts. The Eastern Pact: India, Russia, America, and Greece. There was the Western Pact of Rome and England. Also there was the southern pact of Arabia and Japan. Unalligned was France who was friends of India and Rome. They had also gotten into a war with Arabia in the Franco-Arab war of the 300s. In 1520 Japan began an invasion of England to control the western ocean. Then in 1540 B.C. Rome launched a small army in northern India to kill the infidels who didn't follow their religion.
Now all culture was done for and the first punic war had begun.

Very interesting, but why Punic?

^ I agree, and also it sounds as though it should be 1540 AD (since you talked about 1520 being the previous turn). The thread title is correct but the text isn't.

Enough nitpicking, this could turn out to be an interesting story with a possible three-way war.

Oh, my bad. It is in AD. Its the Punic War because I thought that was most interesting. The alliances are not permanant, instead they are how relations are going. Also to note: my two allies hate the French, my number 1 ally.

This is really interesting. I really am excited about seeing some future pics.

I always hope for pact wars in the games I play, but it ussaully turns into me being a war mongerer.

Hope to see more.

Of course, I don't even have the save file or barely remember the game, but whatever.

Uh, look it says you should post stories and tales here. And this is clearly not a tale since it has happened to you.

Although some of the stories and tales in this forum are completely fictional, most of them are based to at least some extent on a person's experiences while playing CIV. I'm not about to try to state what is or is not a story or tale acceptable to this forum, but the OP's initial post certainly read like a story or tale to me.

If the OP adds some more details and pictures, I'm sure plenty of people will welcome the contribution to the forum.

You don't understand these forums at all, do you?

The Stories and Tales forums are based on games you've played.

Yeah, sorry I didn't even realize the date of the post until after i had already clicked the button.

But thanks anyways for the pleasant post.

 hey look, I can use stupid icons too. LOL, just joking.

This story is worth a chuckle for the "Punic War" bit. Punic = Phoenician = Carthaginian.. clearly not represented in the story.
