Now, I'm thinking these clues could also point to Georgia. Some of the images of Georgian swords look similar to the sword in the teaser.

The cross on the shield rules out: Inca, Zulu or Ottomans. Could be Scotland or Georgia. The lion can be everything. We have to find out who used the weapons in the 3rd clue...

Actually the sword looks pretty much like Gergian saber. Shield is a little bit too tall for Georgia, though.
Speaking about the Lion - "A lion cub is just as good, be it female or male".
