Update 1
In Which I Am Displeased With The Order Turnout
World News
North America and the Caribbean
The Commonwealth of New England
In the northeast of North America, New England sets out to expand trade and industry. While the latter, following an inspirational speech by President Kennedy, is rapidly growing, the former had a small setback. New England decided to expand the Erie Canal, one of the famed trade lanes of the former United States of America, to connect trade with Chicago. However, weak soil and malfunctioning equipment caused a delay in this, and more money was spent on it than expected. (Temporary EP penalty: -3)
The Commonwealth of Antigua and Barbuda
In the many small islands of the Caribbean under the control of Antigua and Barbuda, the economy has flourished. Pharmaceutical companies have record profits, cell phone usage has increased, and new industry and banks have started to form out of the ashes of that horrible disaster that affected the world 100 years ago. Is this a sign of a return to normalcy? (Temporary EP bonus: +4)
The Republic of Lakotah
This year, the vast tribal democracy that spans the former Montana territory sat dormant, with no major changes at all, and most of the government's income being stored for future use. However, some enterprising, young Lakotans found an abandoned mine with a small amount of gold at the bottom, which somehow increased the economy a bit. (Temporary EP bonus: +1)

South America
The Puanistic Republic of Maracaibo
In Venezuela, the Puanistic Republic saw a bit of dissent. Its new policy of rapid industrial expansion caused protests, with people wanting the money to be spent elsewhere. This caused setbacks in the new policy, and a bit of questioning in regards to the stability of the nation. (Temporary EP penalty: -3. Stability -1)

Europe and the Middle East
The Balkan Republic
In the Balkan Republic, the people are celebrating. Despite the government not doing much, their success in unifying Albania under one government and in diplomacy with much of Europe has caused the populace to cheer. Everybody is contributing to increasing the economy, and the lands of the Balkans finally seem to have some semblance of stability. (Temporary EP bonus: +4. Stability +1)
In addition, with the new laws passed regarding strikes, more people in the Balkan Republic feel safe enough to work without fear of oppression, and industry in the nation has boomed! (+1 Factory)
The Republic of Hellas
In the current incarnation of Greece, a massive political crisis started when the National Greek Petroleum Company was privatized and sold for 300,000,000 Drahmas behind closed doors. This caused protests in Athens and Palmero, which resulted in over 1,000 arrested, 120 injured, and 3 dead. The cascade of following events has resulted in instability in Hellas. (-1 Stability)
Despite all this turmoil, the regional governments of Sicily and Voiotoia have started cultural projects that recreate the long-lost cultural achievements of the original Greeks, the Planning Commission of Hellas has created a five-year plan for growth and creating new jobs, and a new metro route is being started. This has improved the economy slightly. (Temporary EP bonus: +2)
The Polar Order of Seminole Tombraiders
The populace mourns over the loss of their chief, and they worship the statue erected in his honor. Outsiders have come to see this statue, many simply because it's somehow made out of gold and potatoes. Oh, the marvels of modern art and engineering. (Temporary EP bonus: +2)
The Third French Empire
Following a successful recruitment drive in France, the government set some of the new recruits to build up the economic capacity of the nation instead of fighting. Especially because of the new policy that the French government made regarding economic growth over the next few years, these loyal men were happy to serve their nation on the industrial front. Sarajevo
In Sarajevo, a small nation allied to the Balkan Republic, there was general dissent over how the Balkan Republic failed to challenge the Serbian advance, and some questioned their allegiance to the Balkan Republic. The government ignored the unrest. Oh well, their penalty. (-1 Stability)
Serbia
Serbia faced unrest as well. In the capital, organized protests occurred over how the Serbian government seemed determined to fight with its neighbor, the Balkan Republic. Many populated areas had men standing with signs reading "We want peace in the Balkans, for once!" (-1 Stability)

Africa
Imperial Republic of Sudan
In the most recent election, the party named The Republican Alliance for Empire led the vote, and plans to form a coalition with other parties-none of whom were the ones that foreign powers wanted. With this turnout, foreign powers slightly decreased trade, for some odd reason. (Temporary EP penalty: -1)

Asia
The People's Republic of China
This GM is completely confused. Despite the Chinese government doing literally nothing, every single person in China is happy, and the economy just skyrocketed. (Temporary EP bonus: +4. Stability +1. +1 Factory. Red, your luck confuses me.

GM Notes:
-If you sent no orders, or incorrect orders, that money was simply banked.
-If you don't have the military units you asked for, look at the stuff below Update 0, please.
-I think this is a good example of how RP can affect your nation in the update. Just look at Hellas, for example. They got a negative event, which gave them the stability hit, but also got extra EP to reflect actions in the nation.
